First Air Craft Carrier Shipment complete.
HENRY ABRAM & SONS have successfully completed the first barge shipment for the Air Craft Carrier Project.
The two bow sections weighing 322Te and 154Te were loaded in Appledore, Bideford.
The tug and tow departed Bideford on 1st April 2010 taking the South-about route, after a short weather delay on passage, arrived safely in Rosyth on 8th April.
The two sections were safely rolled ashore on 9th April 2010.
The next shipment is due to take place in early 2011.
